3 days riding out from the hotel, setting off around 10 am, all different routes with a mix of roads, from single track to wide sweeping roads, (avoiding the roads that tourists use to get to and from the area ) Each of the routes will cover between 140 miles and 160 miles.
I started motorcycling at the age of 16,and apart from a few years away from it(children, marriage, need for a car) I have been biking ever since. I have taken advanced training with a retired class 1 police instructor and have helped him run tours to Ireland and Germany. I have also organised numerous tours to France & Spain for friends and colleagues infofurmanner.de.ENQUIRE ABOUT A TOUR
I plan to cater for all abilities, so no previous experience is necessary
No, all roads are tarmac, no off road-ing is planned, so cruisers, sports bikes, roadsters, adventure bikes are all welcome
No, it will be a mix, ranging from the odd few miles on single track roads to wide sweeping roads
No, but a minimum of at least 125cc would be needed ( so as not to be holding the other riders up)
No, you won’t need to “play catch-up “ . If anyone falls behind, the group will be waiting at the next
junction /turning that we will be taking, until they arrive. No one will have to push their riding beyond what they are happy with, or travel faster than the permitted speed limit
That’s ok, I can tell you where the next turning is, and you can ride at your own pace, then wait for the rest of the group to catch up.
Yes everyone will be issued with the route for that day, with a list of stop offs, if you want grid references for sat navs they can be provided if you let me know before hand.
No you won’t,but it often helps to have an idea of the route we are taking for that day .
We should all meet up in the hotel about 9.30am where the planned route, stopping points and any questions you may have are discussed
Hopefully you will all have a full tank of fuel, (petrol station is next to the hotel) and we can set off for about 10am
We will probably stop off at a couple of places before lunch (admire the scenery, toilet stop)
A lunch stop will be organised at one of the local eateries but you are welcome to bring along a packed lunch if you prefer.
Then it’s back on the bikes for more great roads to ride.
Hopefully we will arrive back at the hotel for about 4.30, this will give you time to relax or use the leisure facilities before you head into the village or the hotel restaurant for your evening meal (not included in the package)
Yes if they have availability.
If you let me know at the time of booking I will get you the best deal I can.
